The Penguin Arms Apartments

The Penguin Arms Apartments, designed by Arthur Moss, was built in 1950. In 2009, Houston Mod identified this building as endangered but new owners Dan Linscomb and Pam Kuhl-Linscomb saved the only example of Googie architecture left in Houston. They say the structure will serve as a modern home goods showroom for their store Kuhl-Linscomb.
